Delete your account

How to have your TossIt account deleted, exactly what that removes, what may still be held afterwards and on what basis, and the honest state of the deletion path today.

Last updated 26 August 2026

The automated deletion endpoint is not connected yet.

TossIt and TossDock Pro are Beta builds. Neither has been submitted to an app store, and the account service that will carry out deletion automatically has not been activated. Until it is, a deletion request is read and actioned by the TossDock team by hand, after they have confirmed the request came from the account holder. Nothing on this page deletes anything by itself.

When the endpoint is activated this page changes to describe the automated path, and the apps will point at the same URL, so a saved link keeps working.

This page is on the open web, reachable without the application installed. A publicly reachable deletion page is what supports app-store review, and it is also the practical answer for somebody who has already uninstalled TossIt and still has an account. It is the page the Delete my account button inside TossIt opens.

How to start it

  1. Start it from the app, or from here

In TossIt, open Account and choose Delete my account. The app shows what is kept, then opens this page in your browser — the app cannot delete anything on its own. If you no longer have the app installed, start from this page instead.

  2. Send the request

Email the address below from the email address on the account, saying you want the account deleted. Sending it from the account address is what lets the team confirm it is you without asking you for anything else.

  3. The team confirms it is your account

If the request arrives from a different address, you will be asked to confirm from the one on the account. No password, card detail or document is ever requested by email.

  4. What is removed is removed, and you are told what was kept

The items listed under "What deletion removes" are deleted. The items under "What is kept, and why" stay, and the reply says which of them applied to your account.

The button opens your own email application with the request written out. Nothing is sent until you send it, and nothing on this page deletes anything on its own.

What deletion removes

Deleting your account removes your profile, your contact details, your saved drafts, and the photographs attached to submissions that have not been completed. It cannot be undone.

  • Your profile and the account you sign in with.
  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Drafts and queued items still sitting on your phone that were never sent.
  • Photographs attached to a submission that was never completed — a report that was withdrawn, a quote you did not take up, a Mission you did not finish.
  • Your saved preferences, including the reduced-motion and location choices stored on the device.

What may be retained, and why

Saying this before you ask rather than after is the difference between a deletion path and a complaint. Some records may be retained where a legal, tax, accounting, financial, fraud, safety or dispute obligation applies to them — a disposal that has been carried out and paid for, or the evidence that a Mission was completed and reimbursed, are the usual examples.

  • Completed disposal records and their receipts may be retained by the local operator where a legal, tax, accounting, financial, fraud, safety or dispute obligation applies.
  • Verified cleanup evidence attached to a completed Mission may be retained as the record that the work was done, including where a reimbursement or a sponsorship depended on it.
  • The period anything is held for follows the local operator's retention policy and remains subject to legal review, so no fixed period is stated here.

Which of those obligations apply, and for how long anything is held, follows the local operator’s own retention policy and is still subject to legal review — so no fixed period is stated here, and this page will not invent one. Anything retained is held by that operator as their record and separated from your profile.

TossDock Pro accounts

TossDock Pro accounts belong to the operating company, not to the handset. A dispatcher or driver account is closed by the operator's owner in the operator console, so that one person leaving cannot delete the operating record of work other people still depend on. Ask the owner, or write to support and they will put you in touch with them.

Deleting the app is not deleting the account

Removing TossIt from a phone removes what was on that phone — the encrypted drafts, the queued uploads that never sent, the settings. It does not remove the account, because the account is not on the handset. If what you want is the account gone, the request above is the path.

Before you decide

The privacy and data page lists everything either application collects, who sees it and how long it is kept, including the parts that are not affected by deleting an account.

TossIt and TossDock Pro are Beta applications. Neither has been submitted to an app store, and no part of this site is a live booking, payment, reward or cleanup commitment. These pages describe how the applications behave; the rows on them are generated from the same constants the apps render, and an automated test fails the build if the two disagree. Legal review of this wording is one of the things still outstanding before either app is submitted. © 2026 TossDock.
